Hi, I’m Kayla. I’ve lived in the Lakeland area for 20 years and have been riding horses for 31 years. I’ve been training on and off for about 18 years, mostly for friends, family, and my own horses. When I was younger I competed in gymkhanas and some team penning, and for the past seven years I’ve been barrel racing my own horses.

I offer refreshers, miles, groundwork, halter breaking, foot training, and desensitizing, trailer loading. I could also give lessons. I use natural horsemanship and always work at the horse’s pace, focusing on reading their body language and using soft, quiet hands.

I’m happy to travel to you. I’m not able to take horses in at this time since I’m not set up to keep outside horses separate from my own herd.

I also have a variety of saddles with different gullet sizes and tack available if needed.
