Cold Lake Public Library

The Cold Lake Library offers high quality services to all of the citizens of the area – the City of Cold Lake and the M.D. of Bonnyville and through an agreement to the citizens of Pierceland and other communities adjacent to us in Saskatchewan.  Through our membership in Northern Lights Library System we are part of TRAC (composed of Northern Lights, Yellowhead, Marigold, and Peace Library Systems) which facilitates the circulation of materials both in-house and through interlibrary loan to libraries across the province.

In the past few years we have made a strong move into using the various technologies available for patron use from Playaways, Playaway Views, and downloadable books through Overdrive; as well as providing access to different programs for teens to learn how to produce highly informative and creative works through our Maker Space.

Through a variety of partnerships with agencies in the community we have been able offer access to literacy programs (ESL), offering programs in schools and day cares, as a meeting place for video-conference meetings, as well as venues for displays and information sessions.
