Do you enjoy working with people from diverse backgrounds? Income tax screening is the first point of contact for clients seeking help with income tax filing. Volunteer roles available at the upcoming Income Tax Screening Clinics include:
1. Greeters, who welcome clients, pre-screen for program eligibility, maintain document control and flow of clients through the clinic, and
2. Screeners, who review the clients' paperwork and slips to ensure that the information needed to process their income taxes are correct and up-to-date and help clients with completing the paperwork necessary.
Volunteers need only to attend one training session. Volunteers are welcome to help at one or more of our clinics.
