About the role:

Support the daily operation of First Flights child care programs in accordance with licensing regulations, Alberta Early Learning Framework standards, and MFRCS policies and procedures.

Support staff recruitment, orientation, scheduling, supervision, training, and performance feedback.

To be successful in this position you should possess:

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Early Learning and Child Care or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in child care, youth programming, or a related field;
OR
Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Level 3 Certification, with a minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in child care, youth programming, or a related field.

The schedule for this position is 5 days on and 2 days off. At this time, applicants local to Bonnyville and surrounding areas will be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Hands on maintenance and repairs of all civil construction and automotive fleet equipment, including dozers, articulated trucks, excavators, service vehicles, etc.
• Running repairs and maintenance work.
• Replacing components.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical and hydraulic faults.
• Preventive maintenance and services.
• Complete work according to the manufacturer’s specifications.
• Work closely with customers maintenance and operations personnel.
• Interpret work orders and technical manuals.
• Keep equipment cleaned, lubricated and maintained.

• Field experience is considered an asset
