  • Greet and approach individuals to inquire if they need assistance.

  • Provide client service statistics and related documentation in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and regularly update the job board and social media with current employment opportunities.
  • Promote available supports, services and programs to the community and other service providers through networking, presentations, conferences, attendance at job fairs and other business events.

Qualifications:
  • Degree, Diploma or certificate with a sufficient combination of education and experience in Social Work, Rehabilitation, Social Sciences, Education, Career Development, or a related field.
  • Previous experience with resume development is an asset.
  • Previous experience working with persons with disabilities, barriers to employment or other at-risk populations is preferred.
  • Must have knowledge of the labor market, employers, as well as community resources.

CEDA is currently hiring 2 Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanics for our town shop in Bonnyville. This is a full-time position local to the Bonnyville region.

We’re a small team, you’ll get to know the people as well as you know the equipment. The variety of interesting equipment with specialty components combined with the tools needed to do great work are a few reasons our shop team loves working here.

Role Specifications:
  • Heavy Equipment Technician Journeyman required
  • Valid class 5 Driver’s licence required with no more than 5 demerits in the last 2 years

  • Experience in hydraulic, electrical, and pump systems is an asset
  • Experience troubleshooting emission system issues using diagnostic software (typically Cummins) is an asset

Hiring - Urgent**Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic - Conklin
CEDA is currently hiring 1 Journeyman, Heavy Duty Mechanics for our shop in Conklin.
We’re a small team, you’ll get to know the people as well as you know the equipment. The variety of interesting equipment with specialty components combined with the tools needed to do great work are a few reasons our shop team loves working here.

Variety: Working on Cummins and Pacaar engines as well as T&E pumps

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Preventative maintenance on Hydrovacs, Vaccuum, Combo and Water trucks; Downhole Pressure trucks, Highway tractors and trailers
Ongoing diagnostic and repair of diesel engines, after treatment/emissions, hydraulic systems and pumps
Troubleshoot issues, inspect equipment and replace or repair defective parts
Interpret work orders
Required to go on service calls in the field
Work alongside apprentices and delegate work
Attend daily tool box and safety meetings as scheduled
Other duties as assigned

Role Specifications:
Heavy Equipment Technician Journeyman required
Valid Class 5 licence with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years is required
Class 1 or 3 licence would be an asset
Experience in hydraulic, electrical, and pump systems is an asset
Experience troubleshooting emission system issues using diagnostic software (typically Cummins) is an asset
Able to provide a negative pre-employment drug and alcohol test
Able to provide your own tools

Personal Characteristics:
You’re happy working as part of a team and comfortable working independently on various projects in the shop
Tech savvy enough to communicate via email and work the diagnostics
Good communication skills, enjoy doing precision work, and solving problems

For Sale - Livestock Guardian Puppies  $ 800
Sarplaniac/Ovcharka and Pyrenees/Maremma pups for sale both moms and dad are working dogs. Haven't lost a single animal to predators, these will be large dogs! My male is 180lbs and still growing females are smaller. We have 11 boys and 5 girls available. Raised with other dogs, cats,sheep,goats, all poultry(ducks,turkeys,chickens,guinea fowl), free range rabbits, and pigs. The first 5 are almost 6 weeks old will be ready for new homes in a month, 2nd set of pups will not be ready for 8 weeks.

All animals get along. Very mild tempered, handled daily, pups are very social. They will be vet checked,dewormed and come with their first set of shots. Parents can be viewed. These are farm dogs, working dogs. The dad has killed coyotes that have attempted to venture onto our property, please do not inquire if you are going to lock it up in a kennel or apartment all day or not put in the effort to train them. I am in the city every Tuesday and would be willing to meet. Thank you
