This window was specially made by a glass company to easily replace the window in a room at Bonnylodge. My mom's air conditioner vent (standard) fed through the window to create a seamless view for the summer (rather than boarding up the rest of the window. It worked great and was very nice to have for those hot days. You can see the vent hole near the bottom on the pics.
