Domenico Lisella passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at the age of 94 years. 

Domenico was born in Campobasso, Italy, on November 28, 1930, and immigrated to Canada in December 1958 at the age of 28. In January 1959, he married Christina, the love of his life, and together they made their home in Calgary. Domenico is lovingly remembered by his daughter Rita (Luigi Audia), son Joseph, and granddaughter Carmen, as well as many relatives and friends in Calgary, the United States, and Italy.  He found his greatest joy in raising his family and spending time with friends.

Domenico led a fulfilling life, working first with the Canadian Pacific Railway before joining Exchanger Industries Limited as a machine operator, where he dedicated over 30 years of service. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoyed gardening, and had a passion for traditional wine and sausage making, as well as playing Italian card games.

Funeral Services will be held at Corpus Christi Catholic Church (404 Northmount Pl NW, Calgary, AB T2K 3P9), on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queens Park Cemetery Mausoleum.
