On the weekend of Sat. Nov. 23 and Sun. Nov. 24 we will have fellowship after each Mass time; with sandwiches, coffee & tea and treats.

All those interested in learning about the ancient tradition of Iconography are invited to a FREE presentation from 2:00 - 4:00 pm on November 23 by Iconographer Alla Kireyeva on the Main Classifications of the Icons of the Mother of God.

Hosted by the Sacred Arts Guild of Alberta (SAGA), the presentation is free of charge with an opportunity to ask questions.

We are grateful to St. Stephen's Protomartyr Ukrainian Catholic Church for the use of their beautiful church which has numerous examples of icons.

The Nov 23rd talk introduces Alla's studio workshop on "Beginning Iconography": The Face (February 8th, 2025), The Hands (February 15th, 2025), The Garments (March 8th, 2025),  Working with Pigments (March 29th, 2025).
