To be considered for this position, you shall:

• Possess a non-restricted valid Driver’s License with clean abstract (last 3 years).
• Have previous field experience, come from a farming background or have rig experience.
• Be willing to be away from home, when required
• Possess H2S Alive, Common Safety Orientation, and First Aid
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
• Have strong safety awareness and discipline
• Be physical capable of lifting 50 pounds
• Be coachable, you will be trained to assist with our specialty services which include: Post Weld Heat Treatment, Pre Heating, Bake outs, Cold Cutting and Beveling, Hydraulic Torquing, Tensioning and Nut Splitting, Hydro Testing, Coring, Hot and Cold Taps, Flange Facing and Portable Machining Services.

Applicants with previous experience in any of our specialty services are preferred.

Candidates must have strong instrumentation industrial maintenance experience working within the Oil & Gas sector. This is local maintenance in the Bonnyville/Cold Lake area with a variety of shift available.
Techmation works on a variety of industrial oil and gas maintenance projects throughout Western Canada. As a successful applicant, you will have the opportunity to work on full-time, long-term maintenance projects with well-established and reputable clients.
Requirements:

• Journeyman Instrumentation certificate or a Instrumentation Technologist diploma
• Registered 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year instrumentation apprentice
• Must have previous troubleshooting and instrumentation maintenance experience working within Industrial Oil & Gas facilities
• At least 3 years of instrumentation experience on Industrial construction and maintenance projects would be considered an asset
• Candidates must have valid Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive & Fall Protection, Standard First Aid – Level A or C with CPR/AED, and CSTS 2020 Fundamentals certificates
• Valid Class 5 drivers license and reliable transportation
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work out of town in camp or LOA based accommodations
