NOVA Mechanical Systems Ltd. is looking for an Apprentice Plumber to join our Service Department that is dedicated to providing quality work to our customers. This individual will be supporting plumbing and heating service throughout the Bonnyville and Cold Lake region.

Responsibilities:

*Assist in providing plumbing service for both residential and commercial projects

*Support the maintenance and servicing of heating units and components

*Assist in responding to gas leak(s) and performing detection under supervision

*Help test, troubleshoot, and replace defective plumbing and heating equipment

*Support installation and securing of pipes and related equipment using welding, brazing, soldering, or threading (as permitted by apprenticeship level)

*Assist with maintenance and preventative maintenance programs, including cleaning and inspection of plumbing and gas equipment

*Participate in ongoing training and stay up to date on changes in technology, compliance,

Qualifications

*Registered Apprentice Plumber (3rd or 4th year preferred, but all levels considered)

*Residential and commercial plumbing experience an asset

*Experience in plumbing and heating service work is an asset

*Possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driver’s abstract

*Ability to work independently and in a busy team environment

*Willingness to learn and follow established maintenance procedures

*Highly flexible with strong interpersonal skills

*Strong attention to detail

*Able to interact with customers professionally, respectfully, and tactfully
